On Summer Solstice 2016 Belgrade Lodge “Wisdom”, as one of the few Serbian Freemasonic Lodges, traditionally performs the most beautiful Ritual within the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite – the summer celebration of St. John. This ritual clearly shows that Freemasonry inherits a wide range of ancient knowledge, from pagan religions, through alchemical esotericism to Christian postulates.
At this special Ritual Work, held on Jun. 20, 2016, Grand Master Zoran Knežević closed the Freemasonic construction site GLS, expressing his satisfaction with the results achieved, as well as the hope that the next semester will be (at least) equally successful.
The representatives of the Lodges in the GLS were presented with Master’s Diplomas, which the Elders of the Lodge will present to the Master Brothers at the first Work in the winter semester. The exceptionally beautiful design of the Master Freemason’s Charter (“Master’s Diploma” or “Master’s Letter”) is due to the fine artist Brothers from our ranks Br. K.K. and D.M, as well as Br. D.R. and E.G. who invested considerable effort to realize this important Work on time.
